We are pleased to feature our new CVAA members and this week, we welcome Jennifer Reguindin, MScN, RN, GNC(C), CCNE from Toronto, ON. Jennifer was also part of a winning team for their group poster presentation at this year's conference - check it out here!

What is your current role/institution?
Formerly Clinical Resource Leader for Nursing Practice and Education for Michael Garron Hospital

Where are you located in Canada?
Toronto, Ontario

Why did you join CVAA?
I was fortunate to win my first membership through the 2022 CVAA virtual conference. When we revised PVAD and CVAD policies during the pandemic, it was evident to me that we needed to be more current and employ best practices. I learned about CVAA in researching for new policies.

What features of membership are you looking forward to utilizing?
I look forward to regular webinars and the recorded series. The CVAA journals are a wonderful resource. My team at MGH was able to submit an article for this journal as well.

How did you find the virtual conference this year and do you plan to attend the 2023 one in Toronto?
We are already planning our work to submit to this conference. We can’t wait to join and meet everyone in person.

Why are you passionate about vascular access/infusion therapy?
As a Clinical Resource Leader in acute care, I know that vascular access is common practice. I want to ensure that the nurses I work with have access to the best practices, policies, procedures, and resources to provide quality care in our hospital.
