JAVA PARTNERSHIP

The Journal of the Association for Vascular Access (JAVA) publishes original peer-reviewed feature articles related to the care and management of patients with vascular access devices. A multidisciplinary audience of over 2,200 physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and manufacturers receive JAVA. JAVA was established in 1991 and is received quarterly by the members of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA), with additional distribution at various conferences throughout the year. AVA members are the ‘trend-setters’ in the vascular access arena and are keeping up with the most current advancements in the industry.

AVAS PARTNERSHIP

The Australian Vascular Access Society (AVAS) shares CVAA’s commitment to improving and setting standards for vascular access and infusion therapy and promoting best practice in this specialized field. In keeping with our dedication to disseminating knowledge and excellence through our journal, CVAA will now receive manuscripts from AVAS that will then be subject to our regular peer review and publication process, and published in our journal, Vascular Access. This partnership expands the pool of authors and manuscript submissions, offering our journal readers, and CVAA and AVAS members, access to a broader range of leading-edge theories, developments, research, and practices. With open access to our publication, this partnership also raises our organizations’ profiles on a global scale. We know that adding AVAS will widen our window on the world of vascular access and infusion therapy.
