We are pleased to feature our new CVAA members and this week, we welcome Madi Connolly from Montreal, QC. Madi was also one of the first executive members of the Vascular Access Student Club (VASC) at McGill University.

- What is your current role/institution?
I have just graduated from the McGill University’s BScN program!
2. Where are you located in Canada

3. Why did you join CVAA?
βTo expand my knowledge of vascular access and infusion nursing in addition to keeping up to date with the latest evidenced based practice articles. CVAA is a great resource for nursing students and I hope to inform my peers of the membership benefits!
4. What features of membership are you looking forward to utilizing?
I am looking forward to accessing the best practice guidelines and modules. I also really enjoy the e-newsletters!
5. Do you plan to attend an upcoming CVAA conference?
Absolutely! I am excited to present our Vascular Access Student Club’s poster!
6. Why are you passionate about vascular access/infusion therapy?
I am passionate about patient safety and providing the most competent, up to date care. Vascular access related skills are such a large part of our clinical rotations and to feel confident in this area benefits the student and patient immensely.
7. What are you most looking forward to this year (personal life)?
I am looking forward to becoming an RN and traveling to Spain & Italy as soon as we're able to again!
