Considering Applying for this new Project
Due June 12, 2020
CVAA is partnering with Roche, one of our Bronze Corporate Members, to create a Steering Committee with 5-6 pan-Canadian CVAA members to help advise their new education platform focusing on Cathflo and occlusion management.
Timed with the forthcoming REVISED CVAA Occlusion Management Guideline (coming in June!) the vision for this project is to create an online website and virtual education program to help standardize occlusion management and how to use it effectively and safely in Canada.
The Learning Objectives are:
- Explain Cathflo and state briefly the efficacy and safety data on Cathflo
- Review how to manage adverse effects of Cathflo safely and effectively
- Review and demonstrate ability to administer Cathflo proficiently
- Discuss best practice and updated CVAA guideline practice for occlusion management
- Describe how to assess CVAD patency
The Steering Committee will work with Roche to develop and review the content, record and/or present over the live webinars and consult and provide feedback on the project.
The estimated time commitment would be 5-10 hours including a kick-off call, 1-2 working sessions, final review of the content and webinar presentations. Honorarium will be provided for all prep and activity time throughout the project.
If you are interested in submitting an application to be considered for a Steering Committee position, please submit below by June 12, 2020.
Candidates will be blindly reviewed and selected based on expertise, role, setting, and geographical location to ensure adequate representation across Canada.
Thank you for getting involved and sharing your expertise!
