We are so excited to present our Opening Keynote at the upcoming CVAA Conference in Toronto. Josh is an inspiring force, Paralympian, X Games medalist, Queen's Diamond Jubilee Recipient and if that wasn't enough, he is a past guest of the Ellen DeGeneres Show!
As Josh was once told by his doctor, he is the luckiest of the unlucky, fortunate to be alive, but also humbled by the gravity of a life altering injury that has paralyzed half his body. With his wife by his side and a team of coaches, trainers and medical professionals Josh was able to move forward at a breakneck pace and shift the perception of possibility through sport. As we know not all that glitters is gold and much of Josh’s story has been plagued by common health issues such as pressure sores, bladder infections and other SCI related complications. It is his hope to relate some of these real world challenges and how he worked through them with the persevering mindset of a world class athlete.
