We are thrilled to announce a new initiative headed by Miranda Harrington, the CVAA Student Ambassador on the Board, and her peers at McGill University - the first Vascular Access Student Club (VASC).
They held thier first event on November 21, 2019 ISON in collaboration with CVAA, titled “Cause of Death: Peripheral IV Infection”. The evening consisted of a presentation given by keynote speaker, France Paquet, followed by a hands-on lab session sponsored by 3M, BD, Smiths Medical and B. Braun. The event was a success and drew a crowd of over 50 students and professionals. This event was supported by faculty (Caroline Marchionni, Melanie Gauthier, Jodi Tuck, Hugo Marchand, and Lab Staff) and organized by the VASC executives (Madi Connolly, Catherine Farmer, and Miranda Harrington) in collaboration with the Greater Montreal CVAA Chapter and France Paquet.
