In our New Member Spotlight feature, we introduce you to some of the newest members to join CVAA. Meet Audrey from St. Catharines ON!

• What is your current role/institution?  Full time Vascular Access Nurse for the Kidney Care Program at Niagara Health
• Where are you located in Canada? St. Catharines, Ontario
• Why did you join CVAA?  This is a fairly new role for me, and I want to expand my knowledge on access and access related issues.
• What features of membership are you looking forward to utilizing?  Conferences, literature
• Are you considering writing the CVAA(c) certification exam?  Yes – and am terrified!
• Why are you passionate about vascular access/infusion therapy?  Because for the patient population I am covering (hemodialysis), their access is their lifeline, and I want them to live their best life with that access.
• What are you most looking forward to this year (personal life)?  A family Caribbean Cruise in May to celebrate both my children graduating university with 2 degrees each! – NO MORE TUITIONS TO PAY!
