> Asked Oct 4: Looking for advice on a patient that has had an increased amount of occlusions in his apheresis catheter.  The physician wants to 'prophylactically' instill the line with Alteplase.  However, in the INS guidelines, in S78, it recommends to 'lock apheresis cvads with heparin 100/mL. citrate, acd formula A or other antimicrobial solutions'.
